I figure its a case of red tape!! Why does does the military do alot of things the way they do? Everything has to be done by the book!!

I'm not trying to force the thought that the Admiralty changed the funnel configuration, but they did add guns to Olympics decks!! Who knows what other "requirements" were needed for military service.

Olympic had several refits during her life. So when did the changes to the 4th funnel take place? Were those changes part of Titanic and Britannic as well?

Just something to ponder.
