Well, I see your point, the mine/torpedo theory can't be proved to either. But after research and junk "they say" that there wasn't any u boats in the area. But, I guess it would be up to you, the indvidual person. And Germans sank Lucy by torpedo, Germany promised not to sink any more by torpedo. And the at the Geneva Convention it was decided, that Germany would not sink a hostpital ship. (thus the red crosses etc. were obvious) But however, No PROOF, so either or, but the mine seems more likely. I don't know:)
