I saw this movie. My wondering stems from the statement at the beginning of the movie that it was "Based on real events"
Obviously the fact that it sunk, where is sunk and the basic historical known facts can be said to be based on real events, but beyond that...
is there any historical fact or perhaps government secrets or suspicions, to back up the story line of a young female Titnic survivor, posing as a Gorverness, but in fact a British Secret Agent, on board in pursuit of a suspected german spy?
IAre there any stories circulating out there that have a reliable source suggesting the story line put forth in the movie?
Or is it Hollywood's flight of fancy?
The Ad's claim it is the "untold never before known true story"
Somehow I think if "Miss Campbell" was in fact a real person, and she knew (in the movie) the real nature of why the ship sunk...then it would not be secret until this day. Surely, even if documents were sealed by the government, after 80 years one would think they would be available to the public?
If you have any observations or information, please e-mail me.
