Fair enough. Let me rephrase.

I believe the sides of the raised roof and the lower half of the officers quarters to be buff. It is true, in one photo the gantry davits, sides of raised roof and lower half of officers quartes appear darker than the funnels. In another photo they appear to be the same shade as the funnels.

Is there a timeline issue when these items would have been painted another color or is it a result of the lighting due to the time of day or area or film quality at the time? Admittedly I assumed the latter. My mistake.

Regards
Dan
