Subject: Engineering is in libraries all over the place

Russ: I have found the journal Engineering, in universities all over the US, Canada and the UK. It is in the main library in Sheffield. It is
Engineering
no other words just that title
Published by Design Council or Office for Advertisements and Publications
1866-1994
London
Library of congress call number TA1.E55
ISSN number 0013-7782

it is currently publsihed in Microfilm and Microfiche by Bell and Howell Information and Learning
Formerly known as UMI
300 North Zeeb road
PO Box 1346
Ann Arbor MI 48106-1346 USA
800-521-0600 umi.com

They are in years and cost $118 or $128, I posted it on the Debris Field Forum.

The bound volumes are yellow before 1911 and Green therafter. The volume numbers on the bound volumes do not coorespond with the volume numbers in the magazine, so the microfilm may not have the same numbers. The Engineer is published by the same poeple and looks exactly the same exept The Engineer is printed on the front cover.

I have found this in the following libraries:
Auburn U. Folio, Science and Technology 4th floor
Baruch College, CUNY William &Anita Newman Library, don't know specific volumes.
Carnegie Mellon 1866-1975 on Microfilm Engineering and Science Library P{ittsburg
U of Cincinnati in its Engr journals 1867-1994
Bowling Green has 1911-1921
Arizona State U has it listed but no info.
U of Wisconsin, Madison Wendt Library journals 1st floor
U of Minnesota, andersen MN
U of Michigan Media Union Library no info on what they have
U of Iowa has it in storage but no into Main Storage Engr 234 volumes
Michigan State U remote storage, ask at desk Jan - Jun 1911
Ohio State U, dates unknown
Penn State has both Engineering and The Engineer in the Hammond Bldg
Purdue U only 1916, and 1917 in unbound issues (which means they have the advertisements) call no 620.5 En 32 Undergraduate library
TRAN unbound all of them call number 620.5E57
McMaster University in Hamilton Ontario
Harvard in the Cabot Science library
U of California Berkeley has seveal copies of it both in their main library and their Engineering Library, and it is in storage in the richmond depository. columbia U has it in microfilm, Dartmouth in Microfilm
Brown U.

The volumes of the journal are in half years, for the printed variety, the microfilm are years. Each half year is around 500 pages long.
