Subject: Please read me - Wreck & Artifacts

Hi all,

Three questions that I would love to present to the group :

1. Wreck - I am aware that Simon Mills is the legal owner of HMHS Britannic wreck. Where has all the discussion on raising the wreck come from. Was there a serious plan at any stage ?? This seemed to have appeared in the TIME magazine article of 1998.

2. Engines & Grand Staircase - I have visited that GUE web site, however can anyone give me a concise account of where exactly the divers went.

3. What became of all of the stored fittings in Belfast and do any photographs of them exist ?

Also is it true that she was released by the British admiralty went for refitting at H&W and was THEN recalled to service for a final time. I read this and it would have seemed to me that a lot of the work must have been redone again. What a terrible shame this ship was lost it would have been so beautiful to have seen her competing against Aquitania. Some times life isn't fair !!!!!!

Thanks for reading this.
