Subject: 1940s Charity Dance for Hospice


I am putting on a Charity 1940s tea dance in aid of St Catherine's Hospice in Crawley.
We have music from The Memphis Belle Swing Orchestra and top swing Dj Nick Kirby from Jive connection.
This dance is at The East Grinstead Sports Club, Saint Hill Road, East Grinstead, West Sussex, RH19 4JU.
On Sunday 18th of October
Time 3pm till 8pm
Dress code 1940s Allied Uniform or Civilian please.
This dance has been sponsored by businesses in Sussex and Surrey

We are waiting for a reply from Sky the BBC and ITV as they said they might be interested in covering this dance as we have The Memphis Belle Orchestra.BBC Radio are also promoting this dance.

There is a Bar and Tea/Coffee and Cakes will be on sale.
We hope to have a WW2 Canteen van selling hot food as well. plus military vehicles on show.(more wanted)
