I was cleaning out some things last week and ran across some things from the old days here that I had printed out and kept. Some of the funny stories people used to write -- and they're *still* funny, LOL!

So are you lovelies? I got laid off from budget cuts at UCLA August 1 (after 23 1/2 years!) and had to take early retirement!! Which is incredibly strange, LOL! I think this means I'm supposed to be a lady of leisure, but that's the bloody joke of the century, LOL! I'm still swamped trying to catch up on all the things I got behind on over the last year or so!

So are we all still Russell fans? I am indeed still among the "pure of heart" LOL! Although I must confess that over the last year or so, I have been cheating on ol' Russ a bit with Gerry Butler. My 'fling on the side' I like to call it. Every 'woman of a certain age' needs a sweet young thing on the side, don't you think, LOL?!!

So spill ladies! How is life treating you and what are you up to these days?
