Subject: ¡Hola Maria! I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. It's so hard to lose someone you care about. I'm sending love and hugs across the miles to you, and I hope you got to spend today with Russell and AGY! And I hope it made you feel a little better! (more inside)
In reply to: Maria (sending Angeleno good vibres and the best for this weekend) 's message, "Hola Angeleno!. Yesterday I had a sad day. One of my ex-coworkers and a good friend, passed away and I was at the funeral in the afternoon praying for him. Life goes on and today (if all the things goes well I'll watch "A good year" for second time and maybe "the black dhalia". Have you seen them?. Did you like them?" on Friday, November 24, 05:18:28am

I have seen AGY, and I loved it. It's so beautiful, and I loved seeing Russell get to be cute and funny and sweet. I kept thinking that sometimes we've seen him that way on stage during concerts, but the rest of the public never gets to see him that way. So maybe they'll see a little bit of what we sometimes see. And Provence is *sooo* beautiful!

I haven't seen Black Dahlia yet, but I'd really like to. I'm a huge fan of James Ellroy, who wrote the book it's based on. I've been to see him a couple of times when he's giving talks, and he's incredibly entertaining, LOL! He loves to shock the audience and get them stirred up. He absolutely delights in playing the bad-ass, LOL!

I'm home tonight watching director Guillermo del Toro's movies! I've become a great fan of his. I went to a screening of Pan's Labyrinth a couple of weeks ago and thought it was incredible. (The Spanish title on the screen actually said The Faun's Labyrinth.) And he was there afterward for a Q&A. It is Mexico's entry for the Oscar for best foreign film, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he at least gets nominated. I had also seen him at Comic-Con in San Diego last July. I just love to hear him do Q&As because he's so bright and passionate about everything. Tonight I just finished watching The Devil's Backbone for the second time. When I saw it the first time a couple of years ago, I didn't know who he was, so it was fun to rewatch it again since I know something about him now.

Take care Querida, and I hope you have a happy day tomorrow!

Marcy/Angeleno
