I TOTALLY agree with you about Ghassan Massoud.. what a perf and what a face! Also Ed Norton was able to convey amazing sould without ever showing his face..

I was actually surprised that Orlando was better than I thought he would be. He is not (yet?) a great actor. But I think he was good here. Fit the bill etc. I LOL when I saw him as a blacksmith as he was in Pirates.. a wee bit of deja vu to kick off the film. I do NOT think it is a great movie, as Gladiator was- but I think it is a very good movie and I was glad those fundamentalist christian crusaders were taken to task.. ugh.

It was very very reminiscent of GLAD in cinematography, battles etc but I suppose that is what Ridley does best..

I thought Liam and Jeremy were first rate!!! and thewlis was quite memorable too.

Sanda I also saw Crash (which may be a very "american" movie but it was extremely well done, and thought proviking... unsettling.

Do you still do the translation thing?

cant wait to start catching up. It has been too long and too lonely with out my lady friends!

Love

Chindi
