BAGHDAD, Iraq, April 18 (UPI) -- Medicine and two weeks of food are on the way to Baghdad's zoo animals, many abandoned to starve or turned loose to fend for themselves. A shipment containing two weeks of meat and vegetables was scheduled to leave Friday and animal organizations are waiting to go to Baghdad to help.

Let us hope the help is reaching everyone in Iraq in sufficient quantities. I can't imagine how it must be going without fresh water for days, I get cranky when water supply is cut off for an hour.
