Subject: Foxxie the nomad dog

This whole saga is so classically bad that I even considered not posting this for fear that y'all would think I was making it up.
Yesterday, Friday the 13th, was the last day of school for my babies (track break). I volunteered to help out with their Valentine's Day parties. Went to Kenz's party in the morn, no problem.
Kenz and I were headed to Delaney's VDay party in the afternoon and I asked Kenzer to go and get her shoes on. She went into the garage and oops... the shoes weren't there. They were inside. Upon coming inside, she left the garage door ajar and I had left the outside garage door open so the cats could come and go.
When arriving home, I/we noted that we weren't greeted by hyperactive licks and scratches.
Dayam! Foxface must have gotten out!
We went tonight and posted 65 fluorescent signs about town.
I'm just hoping that Cruella hasn't scooped Foxxie up.

*Sigh* I really, REALLY shouldn't be a pet owner!

Laney, any sign of your rambling dog yet?

which is starting to worry me. She's been gone since Friday. I put an ad in the paper and posted 65 signs around with no responses. Altho' she is micro-chipped, that doesn't require that a vet contact us should she be taken to one. I have to contact all the vets in my area and let them know her MC number, breed, etc... Doesn't help me much if she's in North Las Vegas or somewhere else out of our vicinity.

I miss that old foxface. :-(

Check THIS out! My girlfriend Patti calls me from her cell phone and said "I think I have your f'ing dog in my LAP." She'd gone to the school to pick her daughter up and glanced over and say this dog walk in front of her car. It was Foxface! She called her and then grabbed her and tossed her in the car. Two minutes later she pulls in my driveway with Fox hanging out the window.
What are the odds that my friend Patti of ALL people would have found her? I'm just happy that's she's back home now. Think I'm going to SuperGlue her paws to the floor.

or whatever those are called.

The ones that go underground and are work with a *shocking* collar.

I don't think it's a real shock, just enough to say, "Stop!"

All kidding aside, I'm glad you have your baby home.
:)
