Subject: HELP!!!!!!!!!

9 days until the wedding. I have been fine up until now, but all of a sudden today I feel awful!!!!!!!!!!!!! Started feeling a bit nervous this morning and then today we get a pic in the mail from Dave's Aunt from when we visited a few weeks ago. They took a picture of the grandmother with all the grandchildren, their spouses and great grandchildren. So we get our copy today and at first I was excited to see it, to feel part of the family you know. But then I open it and look at it and I feel like I dont fit in! :( It make me cry. :(
I look at it and feel like I dont look right there. Is it because Im fat and they are all thin? All blonde except for one other female and me? Because they all have kids and I don't in the pic? Just that I dont know them well enough yet? Because I'm the oldest of them? I don't know! UGH! It's just making my nervousness worse!

Yes, I know this is normal. I was just doing so fine and now I feel like I just want to cry, just shakey. I have lots to do (we have a houseful of guests coming this Saturday) but dont want to do anything. It's all making me kind of blah, sad, depressed.

So here I sit online avoiding doing anything else I should be doing. *sigh*

A n ap might be a good idea. Maybe I didn't sleep well or something? lol

Forget about the pic and try to feel the way you did before you saw it. I know this doesn't help much, but I don't know what else I can say to make you feel better...

Awwwwwwwwww ((((((Ruth Ann)))))) that happens to everybody prior to marriage. You don't have to look like everybody else in the family that just lets you know how special you really are. Besides your not marrying his family, just Dave.

Feeling a bit better. Kept myself busy so I didn't have time to ponder on it. lol I know I'll be a bit nervous through the week, just hope it doesn't make me ( or you all for that fact lol ) crazy!! :)

Dave's home in a few minutes and we're going shopping. Shopping always makes me feel better!! :)

(((((Peej))))) Its normal to be nervous, and it would be weird if you weren't! I know the not fitting in thing, since I married the youngest outta of 4 kids, all the other siblings and spouses had known each other already for YEARS by the time I came along, so I felt like such a newcomer. That all faded, and soon I was as much part of the family as everyone (also, they all have kids but we don't too!).

Always remember that whatever it is that you're insecure about always seems so HUMONGOUS to you, but usually other people are so wrapped up in their OWN stuff, they don't even notice these things that seem so obvious to you! You'll be fine, just enjoy the wedding and having someone who loves you so much!!
