I'm sure I'm not the only one who felt left out in the cold when the L and L lounge collapsed under the weight of differing political opinions on 9/11 (I am guessing here - I never did understand what actually happened).

Another perplexing question is why nobody returned to playing the game of Acrophobia when it returned to the airwaves. Yes, I know we all got lives and didn't wish to go back to the level of addiction we were all in at the beginning, but some once-in-a-while play and interaction would have been nice. Since we've lost that real-time chatting/playing connection, there is not a lot to say in the forums.

Any friendships left unattended for long periods of time have the tendency to wither, but perhaps particularly internet friendships, as there is not the long history of face-to-face contact and shared experiences. Without new encounters there is really nowhere to go.

So, if we're interested in keeping this thing going, perhaps we need to throw a party and invite everyone we know. Alternatively, we could just say it's been nice and bid each other a fond farewell.

Thoughts?

I still played Acro, even after the fall of L&L. I was even on a few teams for a while, but lately 30's 2 has been empty for the most part. Remember when you had to stand in line for hours waiting to get into 30's 2?

A nice reunion night of Acro sounds like a blast, maybe even spark some life into the old 30's gang.

wake me up inside
wake me up inside
call my name and save me from the dark
bid my blood to run
before I come undone
save me from the nothing i've become
bring me to life

Just let me know when and I'll be there.
