Girl looked at the older woman who answered the door. She looked at the ground, plaing with her fingers.
"Uhmm.. Ma'am.. I was wondering.. If maybe I could.. well.. Stay here?"
She knew it was an abrupt question, but she needed a home, even if it was temporary..
"Please, I could work for rent.. I go to Cascade High School..I noticed that you had a barn, I could tend to your horses.. Take them for rides and things.. I'll do anything Ma'am..!"
She knew she sounded desperate, but she was!
