looking for anyone who hung out down foster park in the early to mid 60's.also at s&c luncheonette on foster and 95st. joe inzirillo's parents owned it. remember the singing group the suedes? some of the crowd were-joe inzirillo, augie latona,phil leone,russ aglialoro, bob aglialoro, johnny oswald,john garcia, mark civerillo,anthony forte,frankie rizzo, dave cannizzo,and louie balducci. the girls were-cathy pagnotta, cathy lacey, kitty de marco,celeste ferraioli, lynn spatafora,linda garcia, arlene maisano, glenda stahl, carmela malfa, fran babino,mary santoro,joanne cuollo, rosalie paradiso, roseanne agostinacchio,rose defillippo and many more. remember joining the pal in the summer.boobsie leone and her brother phil ran it. remember going to freedomland.playing softball-the girls teams were, the angels, the devils, the impalas and the continentals. if anyone is out there i'd love to hear from you.

THIS IS JUST TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT A FRIEND OF MINE AND MYSELF WERE DRIVING THROUGH CANARSIE TODAY AND WE WENT PAST FOSTER PARK AND IT IS NOW KNOWN AS CURTIS PLAYGROUND A TOTALLY DIFFERENT PLACE WITH SWINGS, SLIDES AND OTHER FUN THINGS. ITS NO LONGER THE FOSTER PARK WE GREW UP KNOWING AND HANGING OUT IN . IT WAS THE LAST THING WE HAD LEFT OF CANARSIE AND NOW THAT IS GONE TOO. I MYSELF AM UPSET BUT VERY GRATEFUL THAT I GOT TO
GROW UP IN CANARSIE. THOSE WERE THE HAPPIEST TIMES OF MY LIFE AS WELL AS MANY OTHERS I AM SURE. BUT JUST WANTED TO
LET YOU KNOW ABOUT CURTIS PLAYLAND. MAYBE ONE DAY YOU WILL GET TO VISIT.
