Mimpiku tiada lagi bercerita tentang bunga
Karena mata hati telah menjadi buta
Dan telinga tak lagi mendengar senandung asa
Pun hati tak lagi berbicara

Tiba-tiba saja ku rasakan harum bunga,
Kaukah itu seruni ?
Atau kaukah mentari ?
Namun tak kudapati salahsatunya di sana

Tiba-tiba semak bergoyang
Terhembus angin menyapa ilalang
Dan kutemui setangkai bunga mawar
Tersembul diantara semak belukar
