Dorthonion is a young and viberant nation with geographical features similar to Ireland. It is green and prosperous, but a shadow is growing over it. King Delcarth is in ill health. His only child is a daughter - Lady Kunailye. She is unusual in many ways: her hair, unlike the brunette and blacks of her countrymen, is firey red. Her skin is not the tanned hue of populus, but pale, with startlingly black eyes. And most of all, she is a powerful Mage and a warrioress. The nation has strict laws against female warriors and even stricter ones against those Gifted with Magic. But, because she is the King's daughter, nothing has been done to her. Her mother died years ago, and she has no siblings. The nation doesn't trust her. What will happen when she inherits?
