Subject: Citrine: Medieval Fantasy

Two kingdoms, sharing the same continent for centuries-- Temeris and Nangwen, southern and northern neighbors, separated by a mountain chain. Each has fought the world for survival and won. They had an uneasy peace for centuries, but now war seems unavoidable. Why?

Because the citizens are frightened. Magic, long legend, has once again appeared upon the face of the earth. It is a god-given gift, but few see it as such, for the gods neglected to inform the humans of the lands that they were being so gifted. And fearful, they seek to blame it on others. Some blame the gods, and turn their faces from them. Some blame the elves. Some blame their rulers. Some blame the magic wielders themselves. But the vast majority blame the neighboring kingdom.

We require a reasonable level of literacy and attention to detail. Recently reopened, Citrine is a medieval fantasy role-play where you may play as humans and shape-shifting elves. There are nine gods, many unclaimed. This is not an epic battle of good and evil. It is the conflict between shades of grey-- which do you think is the more light? The more dark?
