Has anybody here ever listened to any other bands that Wimpy is in besides the Queers? He is in some great bands. For those of you who don't know(shame on you if you don't), Wimpy used to be the lead singer of the Queers.
Joe, Wimpy, and Tulu were in a great side project called the Drunken Cholos.
Wimpy used to drum, write lyrics, and occasionally sing for the New Hampshire Confederacy of Scum band, The Tunnel Rats.(www.thetunnelrats.com)
Wimpy was the drummer for a Boston punk rock band called Party Fight. I saw them last year with Wimpy on drums. Good stuff.
Wimpy is currently taking GG Allin's place on stage as the lead singer of The Jabbers, GG's first fronted band. For those of you who don't know who GG Allin was, shame on you once again. He was the most insane, psychotic punk rocker to ever walk the earth. Wimpy does a damn good job impersonating him. The Jabbers do classic GG tunes such as "Cheri Love Affair", "Assface", "Hard Candy Cock", and "Gimme Some Head"(where Wimpy so gracefully grabs girls and throws their face in his crotch), and new tunes such as "High On Drugs", "Motorpussy", and "Suckerpunch". Wimpy gets involved with the audience. He hits them, moshes, crowd surfs, and plain grabs onto the back of their head and forces them to sing with him, eventually throwing you back into the crowd.
Sorry for the long piece on the Jabbers, but they are one of the greatest bands of all times. Classic rock and roll. Go to thejabbers.com. They have a new album coming out this month.
