1980 Zebras 25th High School Reunion Committee Meeting

Teresa passed around a committee sign up sheet for everyone to choose which committee they would like to be on or chair.

The group agreed that a photographer would be a good idea at the Saturday night event.

Debbie mentioned that finger foods instead of a dinner might be a good idea to keep costs down.

If the yearbook is done again, the committee will have to come up with a set of questions to ask.

Everyone agreed that the float was a good idea again. Susie volunteered her shop that has a bathroom for the building of the float.

Teresa volunteered to be the Reunion Chairperson again with everyone agreeing that she did a wonderful job last time.

Teresa said we should try and get everyone to pay ahead of time. At the 10-year reunion lots of people paid at the door but that the food ran out.

Teresa mentioned that as the host year we have to give a scholarship. It was agreed that we add a couple of dollars to the price of the reunion to at least have a minimum amount for a scholarship and then we could ask for additional donations from anyone who would like to volunteer.

We have to do the Elks luncheon this time since we are the host year. Debbie will contact someone from the year of 1979 about the host class duties.

Brenda volunteered to host a Christmas Party at her house.

Homecoming is usually the first or second weekend in October but the date hasn’t been officially set.
