Although I was un-able to make it to see what the Casino had to offer. Lisa and I talked before hand and we both agreed that we thought it was going to be to expensive, noisy and many classmates would be in the Casino instead of at the Reunion. At the time the Post Hall sounded like the best deal (it does have a pretty view) and it is in our Hometown. But, since Mike has mentioned something now about WRD's, everyone did have fun there and we had plenty of room. But, as Lisa mentioned "beware of unexpected surprises". Myself, I think that we should really be looking for a place that is in Claremore since this is where we graduated from and with all of the other festivities we have to attend, since we are the host class this year. It would be so much easier to stay close to Claremore for decorating purposes, etc.... Their are plenty of Hotel's here now for anyone coming out of town or wanting to stay over that night. Whichever place is decided on, I think we need to be together as the class of 1980 and have a "great 25th Reunion" planned for our fellow classmates. One other thing: It had been brought up in the last meeting about the Will Rogers Hotel Ball Room, but we didn't know if they allowed parties there anymore since it was now Senior Citizen Apartments. I don't know if anyone checked on this or not but I did find out that they do still allow parties there and you can stay until 2:00 a.m.
See you all at the next meeting.
