Subject: Scrapbook link and beyond

There is a new link named “Scrapbook” on the content panel on the left from the media main link. It’s kind of easy to see how it works, the categories selection is the same as what would occur on the left content panel. I intend for most of the existing content panel's links to go away. Currently the database has something like 50 rows, but when I have incorporated the existing content, it may be in the 150's or so. With Deanna’s stuff coming, along with a ton coming from the reunion, we could see as many as 250 or 300 pictures. With this new contraption, I hope not to be making as many pages; in fact I want not to make another one for pictorial content. What will happen is, I will create new web folders for each new catagory, chunk the pictures in there, and update the database. I may change the interface a bit as what you see right now is not really that fancy. The goal is less work for me, and more oppurtunity for others to contribute.

One of the categories listed is “Reunion Committee Meeting 7/13/2005”. It contains a few shots from the other night.

Outstanding stuff I need to do:

1) Hook up with Shelly Henderson and finish the t-shirt logo task.
2) Create a page to advertise the t-shirts and bracelet thingies.
3) Provide a means for Teresa Lahr to update the directory.
4) Hook up with Theresa Lagers and scan in Deanna’s content. Lagers you will need to bring one of those Margarita buckets that you are now famous for.
5) Start the Saturday night program task. This will simply be a web page that I will print to PDF and out to my color printer, then off for duplication (with the committee’s approval of course).

By the way, you got content? Let’s hook it up!
