You are not alone! I have several CDs of crooners. They just don't sing like they used to. The only disagreement is that I still like Bing too. Many of the women from that era are fantastic also. Kay Starr, Rosemary Clooney (what a babe when she was young!). If you don't have the soundrack to L.A. Confidential, you need it.
