What a day out we all had at the races on Sunday - what a laugh!!! Started out with Snow and doubts about races happening - followed by loads of phone calls - then meeting up for lovely breakfast at Jacks Hill Cafe. As usual the good company started the the day with laughter and tea. Then off to the races. Banter with a couple of cheeky bookies got us all going, especially Pat and Chrissie!!! Then choosing horses, laying on bets (20p each way!!!!!) Oh no.
winning, loosing, freezing cold and still laughing. the Champagne Bar warmth was enjoyed by all, especially Chrissie when she picked up a winning lost betting slip - talk about beginners luck!!!!
Brilliant day - thanks for all the smiles as usual - cannot wait to do it again.
