 Remember this: each patern is a measure of 4 beats.(Pink Gray Pink Gray) Between each 4 beats are 4 beats. This is why there are 16 blocks. Figure out what beat your are trying to make and what block it must land on. This is how to create your patterns. After creating all the necessary patterns for your song, go to the playlist icon. Of course, the vertical list is the list of patterns you have created. To create a song, line up the patterns(horizontally) in the order you wish to create the song.
