The day started out normally enough.Kagome woke up,made her bed,had breakfast,brushed her teeth,and got dressed. "Kagome,I need you to take over the shrine for today.Sota has his field trip today so Grandpa and me will have to leave the shrine to you.I already phoned you in sick today."Mrs. Higurashi gave Kagome that pleading look all parents give when they need something important. "Sure mom."Kagome replied. "Remember,Buyo needs his checkup at the vets today,you have those books due tomorrow,you need to phone your math tutor-Well,here's a list." "Mom,it's okay."Kagome smiled."I think If I can survive the feudal era a day by myself will be a peice of cake." "Alright.If anything happens,phone me." "I'm sure nothing 'will happen'. "Poor Kagome was unforunately not aqquainted with Murphy's Law,so she would not have known how big of a mistake it was to say that.Unforunately,The Ironic Overpowers heard her,and decided that this day would be one of the worst ever.
