Wow!! I would very much like to tell you the truth about Mary Kay and how to start up successfully.

First, you must purchase a starter kit and the cost is $100 plus tax. Between the full size products, samples and bags the consultant has approximately worth $437 worth of items.

Now, please pay close attention. DO NOT ORDER HIGH VOLUMES OF INVENTORY. IT IS NOT NECESSARY. I always suggest if consultants want more than $200 wholesale / $400 retail, do not start any higher than $600 wholesale / $1200 retail and do not place another order until this product is close to be sold out. DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO TALK YOU INTO FRONT LOADING OR MONTHLY ORDERING SO THEY CAN REACH THEIR OWN PERSONAL GOALS. It is necessary for recruiters to go and sell products and share the opportunity.

I highly suggest that if you are going to put this product in a gift store, beware, you will get reported to the company left and right; however, we are now in the 21st century and I for one do not see anything wrong with it. It beats the other alternatives that your recruiter will tell you to do..warm chattering, book family and friends who eventually will want nothing to do with you. So again, I say, go for it and set up a display and if a mary kay consultants complains, oh well, tell them to go to flea markets the products are all over the place.

I would suggest to you to just sell and leave recruiting alone unless someone approaches you. You will understand this statement once you go to a few rah rah meetings. Remember selling you honestly get 40% profit, because you will need 50% to repurchase product and 10% for tax (no one will tell you this). Please do not run this business with your own personal funds after your initial purchase of the start up kit and your initial order. I promise you if you do, you will go into debt. Be a wise business women no matter what avenue of business you choose; do not get caught up in the glamour or excitement of this business or any other. I wish you luck and if you want more info, please feel free to contact me. Oh yes, one other thing, the majority of women in Mary Kay are lucky if they make $10,000/year...keep your eyes and heart wide open. Good luck.
Toni
