Hi I sell Mary Kay, and I think it is a great company. Yes you do have your ups and downs just like any other company. This business works when your heart is right, and you work the business. You have to know yourself, and what you can and can't do. I did not have the funds to start my business with nor the credit to get a loan. So I used my friends and family to help me get the inventory I needed. Yes I did have to make money and turn around and reinvest it. But thank God I have no debt. This way also made me a strong consultant. It allowed my team member to see that you really don't have to invest in large orders to make this business work. This way it keeps my team ordering every month because they need the product. This way builds their momentum, and keeps them working. If you invest in a whole lot of product at first it will tend to sit on the shelf, and you won’t move it. But if you continual to build your product you will be more successful.
Read more about this business at my website.
Thanks

Michelle, I also am a single mom with a budget and I've been a consultant for 3 years. I'd love to share with you any questions and concerns you may have.
