Strongly agree with ur speech.
May i use the word 'disastrous' to describe these 2 public exams result. I heard that there are only 4 students in Arts stream can promote to University, while none of our F.5 student can get an 'A' in the 2 languages. i think if this situtation continues, we are not far from being a CMI.
The school should bear most of the responibility, after the EMI programme is launched, we should have students of better quality, but as we can see today in the result of 2 exam, our academic result is a mess.
The root of the problem is the attutide of many teachers. Being close to stuents and treating us gently is probably a vitrue in the eyes of teachers. i would say this virtue has gone too far, over-kindness is a sort of indulgence. i don't mean teachers should not be close to us, but at least they should have a proper bottom line. Just like not to make some porngraphic so call 'jokes' during lesson.
