 「法律學院的具體籌備工作將由籌劃委員會負責，籌劃委員會由大學校董、執業資深大律師梁定邦博士出任主席；梁博士曾任香港證券及期貨事務監察委員會主席及中國證券監督管理委員會首席顧問，現為哈佛大學法律學院Nomura國際金融體系客座教授（Nomura Visiting Professor of International Financial Systems），並為中國內地多間著名學府，包括北京大學及清華大學的客座教授。」

梁博士於1962年畢業於聖芳濟書院，並在1964-65年回母校任教數學。當時，他與現任明天更好基金行政總裁的袁金浩先生及許冠文先生（當時的綽號為「肥飛」）在濟記合稱「三劍俠」。
