I've just watched the Passion ofthe Christ yesterday... its just too touching that I almost cried out. My eyes were filled with tears throughout the movie If any of you who are 18 or above, I strongly recommend you guys to watch it. Though the scenes are very bloody that you don't dare to open you eyes sometimes, but you can totally feel the pain and hardships Jesus overcame at that time...>.<"

請自行判斷,反對這電影的人(見下段)是以一顆童真的心去看待一份表揚基督的藝術作品? 還是以一種吹毛求疵的心態在雞蛋中挑骨頭?

第一，任何用視覺表達出來的耶穌都是一個謊言，因為全智的神用盡方法不讓我們得到祂兒子容貌之形容及描述，唯恐我們會落入製作偶像的罪。
第二，任何視覺表達出來的耶穌都是一個謊言，因為它們永不能表達耶穌真正本性的榮耀。
「有一幕戲是特別感動的。當耶穌在上十字架的路上跌倒時，鏡頭轉到耶穌在小時在耶路撒冷街上跌倒，他母親跑出來抱起他的回憶片段。馬利亞和耶穌在影片中的配合實在感人至極，令這幕戲進入高潮。
主的母親邀請我們每一位分擔她的憂傷及仰望她的兒子。」
採用聖經以外的材料、著重肉體的受苦、誇大馬利亞的地位、及公開地引用天主教的神學，這些特質都是從本片主要的靈感—《基督哀傷的激情》一書而來。……”
