Re: Duffield was the standout, clearly number one -- Shabby, 1/06/06 3:32:22pm [1]
Agree with Duffield being the best available, him and Harding were the standouts I thought.
Got my third option in Matthew Warnock with my first pick, who looks a pretty promising classy youngster. Showed quite a bit in the NAB cup and has played a couple of games this year and was in the best in the VFL last weekend first week back from injury.
Ben Sharp with my 2nd pick (fully expected to get Ed Lower here, can't believe he was snapped up). But Sharp seems a likely rookie prospect at West Coast, and is very highly rated by West Coast fans. Similar to Daniel Kerr apparently and would have gotten games by now at a club with less competition for midfield spots.

No one told me. -- Walt, 1/06/06 3:34:13pm [1]
I admit I didn't do heaps of research, ran out of time, but actually wanted a walk up starter. Massie was a foundation Brian, having been cut at the end of last year but seems to be in favour at the moment and getting good scores.
After cutting Chris Scott I needed some mid level experience, my list of youngsters and near retirement players is a little worrying. The board are putting a lot of pressure on. Gee I'm under stress.
Surprised no one took Warren from Freo.

Don't feel bad Walt -- Howie, 1/06/06 5:38:12pm [1]
I did stuff-all research and the name Paul Duffield nor Whatsisname Harding didn't mean much to me either.
I'm so into the Pies at present that I don't care much for the rest.
I've heard of Campbell - like me he come from Hamilton - so figured that'll do.

dodgies Draft Rap -- rizzo, 1/06/06 5:24:14pm [1]
No suprise youth was the key here!
Pick 3: Scott Harding
VERY talented youngster. Didnt think hed last to 3. Was planning for a Duffield,Harding 1 - 2. So was super happy he fell thru. Gives me a talented midfielder.
Pick 14: Cheynee Stiller
Showed enough so far for me to select him. Should also be promoted next year. Another talented small. Hoping he develops nicely.
Pick:17 Anthoney Raso
Apparently would have gone in the top 20 if wasnt drafted the year before. Tall midfielder who can play off a HBF. Treated carefully. Has been playin VFL ressies. Should sneak some game time innext year.
Pick: Elijah Ware
Talented player. Apparently has the skills to play afl footy.Dedication is suspect. Woth a punt, alot of port supporters have talked him up!.
