The Magpies (sixth) and Swans (seventh) have the draw to consolidate their positions against their immediate challengers.

In contrast, Fremantle (eighth) has a tougher draw than Richmond (ninth) and Geelong (10th), who are virtually equally treated.

But the Dockers balance the ledger somewhat by having five of their seven games (including a derby against West Coast) at Subiaco.

Richmond has four games at the MCG and one interstate trip while Geelong has two matches at Skilled Stadium and two interstate, including a clash with the Kangaroos in Canberra.

Our accompanying table is based on the current ladder positions of the seven teams your club plays in Rounds 16-22 after every team has played each other once.

The ladder shows that pace-setter Adelaide has the equal second toughest draw behind Port Adelaide.

But this looks largely irrelevant to the Crows' prospects as they have been so dominant against all comers.

In what is rapidly developing into a fascinating battle for second place, and its reward of home ground advantage in the finals, West Coast (second) and Melbourne (third) have been treated almost equally by the draw.

Go to the bottom and you'll notice that Essendon (16th) has only a marginally easier draw than Carlton (15th).

In any event, tomorrow's clash at the MCG is likely to have just as much influence in determining the destination of the wooden spoon as which teams the Bombers and Blues play.

They both face Hawthorn, Sydney, Collingwood and Richmond again in the following six rounds.

The Western Bulldogs (fourth) have a moderate draw with one match interstate and clashes with three of the top five teams.

St Kilda (fifth) plays only two sides above it, including the Bulldogs in Round21.

Happens in the AFL too.

So our Superleague is quite realistic I suppose!!!!!!!
