Subject: A suggestion...............................what do we all think?
I think we could have a trade period soon.
Reason being, that with Shabby joining us, he seems real keen and a time for him to put some of his own touches to his team may be what he would like.
Also if a new coach comes along soon for the DOdgies, he may want to also.
And there may be some other coaches that may want to make a change or two as well.
My idea.
At the end of round 7.
From Sunday midnight to the following Thursday midnight (a total of 4 full days) any trading can happen.
Mon 15 May to Thursday 18 May.
Trades are listed on the board.
Round 8 teams are pre-trades.
Traded players can only be used from the commencement of Round 9.
This way, it gives RB a week to record the changes.
What do we all think?

The games much better when you can personalise your squad & i know Shabby is keen.
Will we have a draft or is the Free Agent list to thin?
The Fockers will participate if it goes ahead,hoping to add some KP/Ruck depth to the squad at the expense of a few smalls.

bombers have started poor, and im keen to add a bit of depth, due to a lot of injuries especially to big players, and young guns!

Very keen on trading/drafting. Any type of scenario where I can change my list is good. Gets a bit stale having the same list and having no input into who I have.

I'll have to go along with it. I'd prefer to leave it couple of weeks - so the new squads are ready to play for round 12.
Maybe trade / delist your duds R8-9. Draft R9-10. Update lists R10-11.
Ican't recall the view on the nmidseason draft, I know a few were concerned I'd (or the perennial cellar dwellars) end up with a batch of stars. It doesn't look like this has come to fruition (I have 2 in the top 50 Bell and Buckley my orginal 1 and 2 in the very first draft, I think) but its a young squad, if this comp is tsill going in 2010, watch out.

With list sizes at 44 the Free Agents list is to small to hold 2 drafts per year in my opinion.
Will go with the flow however if the majority disagree.

we would require an order.
The earliest we could have a draft is after Round 13.
After round 13 all teams have played each other and the ladder is as close as we can to the appropriate order for the draft.
This way, it is as fair as we can for all coaches I believe.
