ooohh, there's something about Rusling that gets the blood pumpin' as a Pie -- Howie, 17/02/06 3:06:18pm [1]
I got a feeling that the kids going to be a gun if he can stay on the park for long enough.
On a serious note, I think it would be fair to each have one injury listed spot, where you can list a player on the IL for a certain period of time (only if he's actually injured, bad luck Spriggsy) and claim an FA to replace him. I just think the rule has to be universal, as in open to everyone.
Not so much a big fan of trading to and from the FA list, because it's not really trading, it's just dropping a shit player and picking up the best FA.

GM delivers Spriggs "hands off" warning to opposition clubs -- Howie, 26/02/06 12:33:56pm [1]
AINTS general manager, Nofugg Ingood, has issued a stern "hands off" our main man David Spriggs.
The outstandingly talented Sydney Swans midfielder was in his usual sublime touch at the weekend, prompting murmurings in the Super League corridors that he would be targetted by opposition clubs.
The latter was confirmed on Sunday, when speculation exploded in regards to the Dawks' attempts to secure the once in a liftime footballer from the Aints.
Dawks' icon, Dermie, was seen rocking up to Spriggs' Sydney home yesterday with a surfboard that was wrapped up in a big red bow. According to The Hun's spies, engraved on the surfboard was "Spriggsy - Dawks' captain".
News of this attempt has filtered back to Aints' head office, where Ingood declared Spriggs was an "Aint for life", before adding "unless someone offered us something useful in exchange - life a foccacia with avocado, sundried tomatoes, a bit of him, a couple of mushies and some cheese".
Stay tuned...

Thoroughly enjoyed the life and times of the AINTS FC -- Maxwell, 26/02/06 1:36:07pm [1]
Dermie is quite offended.
The surfboard was a surprise, and anyway with it came a weekends holiday at Lorne.
With Spriggs' great start to the season Dermie was trying to get him to stuff up his knee once again.
Rumours at the DAWKS are that Spriggs turned him down and said life in Sydney is better than at Melbourne.
Jason has just been in front of the media and has denied that the Dawks have approached Spriggs so early in the season.
Dermie was last seen driving his sports car along the Great Ocean Road.
Dermie is in a bad state, says Maxwell coach of the Dawks. He is still upset that his approaches to Nicoski, S.Burgoyne and now Spriggs have been fruitless.
