Subject: I understand the AFL has to approve trades - is that correct?
In reply to: SL 's message, "Concerns about unfair trading, moderators please read.........." on 7/12/05 4:26:05pm

So I can see nothing wrong with having all trades viewed first for approval and if anything fishy is going on coaches could be asked to explain. Its conceivable I could arrange a new coach to take over a team and then do some one sided trades - so maybe a safegaurd now would be wise.

As for RBs trade, good work on his part and I agree with others that perahps we're over rating Didak. Some would say he (RB) got the wrong end of it, particualr non-Collingwood supporters. In this comp you have to look at point scoring which is a little different from an AFL team. I had medhurst, a good goal sneak / small forward - an asset to an AFL team, but in the end traded him because I'm sick of him getting scores of 30-40, a lesse r version of Didak perhaps (in the end I got Glass who averages about the same). Don't know Didaks average score, potentially a high scoring midfielder but RBs taken a risk and certainly not a one-sided trade in the context of the SL.
