"Easy " attention moves with hers to the approaching stud. Not many wild that would come to a mare with human so will wait and see what he does. If tame then potentially more of a problem; for now hands moving to pick up bridle left from youngsters play, damaged yes but hopefully not beyoung use as some sort of halter.
Knife brought out easier then attempting to save it and cuts through detaching the bit held firm with rusty buckles.
A pause there to once again rub the mares neck, "Won't be long , you and your kid have somewhere safe to play"
