Adan- the Elanian people were an ancient race of creatures, origionally created by the children of demon and faerie kind. there were enough of them at one point to branch off and make their own species, so they did. but as things would happen, there was a flood or something that took out all but a few of them. it was later discovered that they were the species responsible for the creation of a very, VERY rare substance of great value to the world of magic. Asylan- Star Dust- it is refined from mixing a natural element with a chemical in their blood. that is what we were doing- refining Star Dust. it takes a long time to do, really..... he has been used three times before this. usually around the fourth or fifth times, they die from physical trauma. Adan- however, because so much of their blood was needed to make the powder, we had to impliment other means of making their bodies produce more. Elanian's have a general ability that anytime they are hurt, they produce more blood- regardless of whether or not they need it. the size of the injury dictates how much blood is made. this keeps them alive for a while longer, and why he looks the way he does..... some of the things in the other rooms were designed for the soul purpose of hurting them, so that we could have their blood. Asylan- the last colony of them seperated a while ago, there are other people who are in the same line of work as we are. they occassionally send new people here...... if you heard a gun-shot earlier tonight, that was this one trying to escape. he knew that this was going to be his last visit..... he really hasnt known anything other than this life. i havent been here long- you can ask him specifics when he wakes.....
