Despite previous reports, Boomhauer's first name is not "Jeff" or "Geoff." There has never been any mention of his first name in an actual episode of "King of the Hill," and if you think about it, there is no way to come up with a reasonable first name for Boomhauer. Hell, his brother's name is Patch, so why would he have a generic first name? You have to look at Kramer from "Seinfeld." His first name, Cosmo, after years of speculation, was a screwy as his last. Come up with something different, then we can start talking about this.

For the record, I'm guessing his first name would be something ridiculously proper or extremely redneckish. Whatever it is, one thing is certain: it has to be embarrassing enough that he would want to go by "Boomhauer." A couple of suggestions: Ralphus or Hepcat.
