Subject: wondering..

when the deal for the call center was being done....where was council? and who was council president at that time?

when the concrete was being poured in the hole...where was council? and who was council president at that time?

when the steam heat building needed demolition and no funds were recovered for that...where was council? and who was council president at that time?

Are we seeing something here?

So what's the excuse why the city is in the shape it is?

If council claims they didn't know about these deals,projects,etc...Then why even have a council?

Or if they couldn't do anything about it,then why even have a council?

The lease between the city and the tenant for the call center was so screwed up,is everyone saying nothing was able to be done to stop it from being signed or changed?

Was anyone doing their job?

What exactly is council's job?

Surely if someone on council(and let's suppose someone may dabble in real estate or asked someone in real estate)would have read that lease, they should of seen how bad of an agreement it was. Right? Shouldn't things like that be researched?

What is the call center costing the taxpayers now a year? around a MILLION DOLLARS or so?

How much was that concrete? FIVE MILLION OR SO?

Steam Heat demolition costs to the taxpayers...400,000.00 OR SO?

I'm somewhat sure that the cops, firefighters or dpw workers were not involved in those dealings, yet they are the ones taking it on the chin..

does anyone know, who was on council the last eight years? who was council president at that time? and what exactly is council's role?
