Subject: Namecalling

After I read tonight's posting, I cannot help but to keep rereading the paragraph about the firemen namecalling and so forth. I certainly do not know who started what but it certainly seems there is continuous namecalling also in the posts on the site when any criticizes the present sitiuation, while maybe things are getting a bit out of hand on this forum, I do think some very logical points were raised by persons who probably are in all honesty are afraid to give their names, lets not forget last year this site was all about being able to vent and not having to worry about retribution, it is pretty hard to expect people to come forward and not worry when they went through hell and back for eight years. If you wish you were not put in this present sitiuation, then get rid of this forum, but then take yourself out of the position you have put yourself in, for example if this currently was being done under MCG'S administration what would your view be? Even if you had agreed with it I am sure you would have handled in in a different manner, would you have really cared about the look on the firemen's faces at the City Council meeting if MCG was still running the show and this was happening? Bottom line here is its harder to fight someone you like while you know it be wrong, than fight someone everyone hates, while I still beleive Tom Leighton will do some great things for this city, I also firmly beleive that he will make some mistakes along the way also and this may be one of them.
