Ethel. I'm worried about you. Much like me, I suspect that you're spending too much time on the internet. My hat is off to you though. That was the longest post anyone ever bothered to post and you definately put some work into it. Can Dean Howard.com be far behind?

What is your point? That Republicans make all sorts of stupid and less than thought out statements? I think we already knew that. Both sides are guilty as charged. My fave has to be, "We need safer guns and safer bullets." Or when Bush I called a female political opponent a bitch. Ooops! Gotcha!

Are you equating stupid comments, even hurtful comments, with voting on whether to assassinate elected officials? You don't see a difference? I know many of you out there tend to see just about any comment as some sort of hate speech, but these guys were talking about murdering people. No biggie? Pat Robertson is way out there, so none of that should matter?

Identity crisis? Me? Not at all. I did vote for Mcg once, Steve Flood twice, Steve Urban once, and Tom Leighton. I'll vote for who I perceive to be the best candidate and quite frankly, Kerry ain't it. The coffee offer sounds doable, but you need to debate and tone down the name-calling. I suspect that you launched into the longer post after realizing just how completely pathetic the shorter one was that accused me of being a butt slammer.

And what's wrong with believing in Tom Leighton? Has he worn out his welcome after only 60 days? Were they late picking up your recyclables or something? You don't worship at the curb, do you? If you wanna fight, I look forward to it, but remember, I didn't speculate about your sexual preferences as you did mine.

You make reference to all sorts of ridiculous comments while you yourself make every effort to insult. I'm heading down to the parade and I'll be sure to make our mayor aware of the fact that you think he's my butt buddy.

Maybe we really should do the coffee thing before you attempt to "out" anyone else.
