I wholeheartly agree with you ffl104, this was a complete rush job and it seems to be a lot of confusion to go along with it, deductables start this June also, which a lot of people do not realize. The fire dept. is taking the brunt of all of this, now some of the other departments are angry, and rightfully so, because this opens a whole new can of worms for their contracts as well, so who could blame them for being angry. Its the same old, same old once again, but it surely sucks that the fire dept. is getting all the heat again. By the way, love the recent memo, it was classic McG style, and the reference to the healing field in the memo was a true contradiction to what just happened, they should practice what they preach, if they want to honor those who lost their lives serving the public, then they should really think about what they are doing to their own, the lack of respect for those who put their lives on the line day in day out is a joke in this city already.
