Subject: Is this a joke?

There are serious issues with making concessions to TL. Now that a union has stepped up and offered to pay health care, will TL and council do the same? What about this health care buy-out? Should a man and wife both employed by the city be offered this benefit? Talk about double dipping! I was stunned with the fact that we are saving the city a good deal of money, and he hires someone on the heals of the contract announcement. Boy was that a slap in the face!

On another note: What ever happened to the audit to show where McG frivolously spent our hard earned tax dollars? Wasn't the state supposed to come in and do a full check of the books? I would suggest that we as taxpayers ask for accountablility in our government past and present. Let me guess there isn't a enough money for the audit since hiring a son of a chamber member. Call your council member or go to a council meeting to express your thoughts on our financial accountability.
