Subject: THREE MONTH'S AND COUNTING

Back on May 25,2004 it was posted here that "there are many things in the works right now and rest assured only the opening salvos have been fired", "they have seriously compromised the lives of the community called W-B,and they have seriously compromised the safety of every firefighter that reports for duty from this point on".
What Happened? It has been 12 weeks...THREE MONTHS...and NOTHING...nothing at all...WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FIGHT FOR THE FIREFIGHTERS? it was said their saftey was seriously compromised! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FIGHT FOR THE COMMUNITY?
it was said lives in the community were seriouly compromised... SO WHAT HAPPENED?? WHY NO FIGHT?
Perhaps there was never going to be a fight? Perhaps it was just a PAPER TIGER? It's very strange how something as important as a issue as this,and if there ever was a more noble fight to be fought,that this would of been one to stand up and fight for. BUT NOTHING..Yeah there was some rumblings and saber rattling before council,but was that just for show?
How can you not fight for firefighter and community safety?
How can you not at least give it your absolute best effort?
Even if you lose,you still tried,you still made a attempt,you still stood up for the right thing to do...and everyone would of seen,,everyone then would of at least been made aware,then again it may of worked.
BUT NOTHING...WHY??? Why post here and say that stuff and then not act? Is it all just a Paper Tiger?
So many people in this community need to know the dire situation that is upon them.The facts need to be given..The good fight needs to be fought...it's not to late and it never will be..
