Subject: Rant

It’s about time to say out loud what everyone’s been whispering about for some time. I feel like it’s up to me to take this stand because I care about Shortcut’s future, and I don’t want to see such a talented band go to waste. (And because everyone else is too much of faccy hole to say anything.) So many bands come and go having worked hard for little reward, and I don’t think Shortcut to Newark should suffer the same fate. These guys have got something that makes them stand out from the rest of the local, nay the UK scene and that’s talent in the truest sense of the word. But one thing continually lets them down:

This message board. It’s crap. The old one was ok in more of a guestbook sort of way, but this one’s rubbish. I can’t tell what’s going on half the time with people’s conversation threads taking ages to load about 3 words and going of on those weird tangents. Why can’t you back to the main board easily? Why does it look such a mess with just bulk black text on a white background? “Ooh, your username comes up in bold, how exciting!” Bollocks. Shortcut get a hell of a lot of hits on their website, but you wouldn’t know it from the number of people posting. I just hope the lack of a decent message board doesn’t mean they’ll miss out on a 6 album contract with EMI. Someone needs to sort this out and Webmaster I’m talking to you.

Er, i do. that's why i posted that big "mother-bastardin" fucking message. i thought that would be self-explanatory really. Obviously i hadn't made myself clear.

Ironically, I was nearly unable to reply to this thread due to getting lost in the confusion.

I am better at navigating my way around a hall of mirrors, holding a magnet to my broken compass with my eyes in upside down and my legs on backwards than I am at navigating my way around this message board. Believe.

If you click 'Main Index' up the top there it takes you back to the 'Main Index'. It's a neat feature. Check it out.
