Aspengrove Referral Service has a number of adoption situations. I
will list some below, but you can view them all on my webpage,
http://www.aspenref.com If interested in any of them please either
email Jeri at jeri@aspenref.com or call at 208-266-0122. Thanks.

KANSAS COUPLES ONLY-Code-Esmeralda-Birthmom due June 27th in Ohio with a full Hispanic baby. This situation is available to Kansas couples only! The birthmother has been receiving prenatal care. Sex of the baby is unknown. She has no other children. Esmeralda is married but is sure this is not her husband's baby. This pregnancy is the result of an affair. The assumed birthfather is Hispanic and in Mexico. Esmeralda and her husband are Hispanic as well, so the baby will be full Hispanic one way or the other. He was aware she was pregnant before he went back to Mexico. When she told him she was pregnant he asked her to go with him to Mexico and she said no, and she told him she was either going to abort the baby or place the baby for adoption, and he said either was fine with him. Her husband is aware of the affair and the pregnancy and wants no part of this baby. He will sign papers and does not want a paternity test done. Even though he knows there is a small chance the baby could be his he says no paternity test will be done. The adoptive couple needs to be aware that there is a very small chance the baby could be his and he could change his mind about the paternity testing. It is a very small chance, but anyone applying should know. Birthmother denies the use of any drugs, alcohol, or smoking while pregnant. There are no health or mental health issues. The birthmother would like to talk on the phone and meet the adoptive couple before the birth. She is unsure about is she wants pictures and letters or not at this time. The birthmother would love a Hispanic couple or couple where one is Hispanic or they have adopted Hispanic children already, or any Hispanic relatives. She would like a professional couple that is either childless or has no more than 1 child. She would also like a stay at home mom. Fees will be $16,200 plus your legal fees and travel. That includes my fee, facilitators fee, and all birthmother expenses.

Code-Toh-Birthmother from Toledo Ohio due with a full African
American baby girl October 4th. The birthfather is out of the
picture. The birthmother denies the use of any drugs or alcohol
during her pregnancy. She has been receiving prenatal care since
about 3 mos. pregnent and is on Medicaid. The birthmother is going to
jail soon and must place this baby or the state will take it. She is
very sad about this decision she has to make, but knows it is what is
best for the baby. She wants a couple in Toledo Ohio ONLY. She would
like her and her family to be able to see the baby monthly and and get
pictures and letters. This is her first child. The birthmother is
21. My fee is $2000, due upon match. Advertising agency's fee is 7%
of your income for 2004 off of you 1040 tax return, and then you will
have your legal fees.

Code-Amy-Birthmother due in Illinois Sept. 4th with a full Caucasian baby, sex unknown. Birthmother denies the use of drugs, alcohol, or smoking during the pregnancy. Birthmother is 24 and already parenting two young children, a boy age 3 and a girl age 2. The birthfathers whereabouts is unknown. Birthmother is 5'7" with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes and she weighs 140lbs. pre-pregnancy. The birthmother wants a married couple with a stable marriage that has been married over 2 years. She wants a stay at home mom. Amy wants a financially stable couple (over $75,000 a yr. she states). They can have children already but does not want a large age span between this baby and the other children in the family. She wants a Christian couple that has a house and a small pet/pets, that is well educated and non-smokers. She wants a very open adoption. Amy would like the adoptive couple to live within 4 hrs. of the Illinois border, be open to pictures and letters, phone calls and monthly visits. She would like to be an extended part of the family. Fees will be $13,200 plus legal fees and travel.

Code-April-Birthmother due Aug. 17th with a Biracial (1/2 Cauc.
1/2 AA) baby BOY. The birthmother lives in Indiana. The birthmother
is Caucasian and 27 yrs. old. The birthfather is AA. The birthmother
is on Medicaid and receiving prenatal care. She had an ultrasound and
all looked fine. No drugs or alcohol. The birthmother smokes 6-8
cigarettes a day. The birthfather wanted her to have an abortion and
says the baby is not his, and wants no part of this baby. The
birthmother is parenting 2 children now, a boy born in 2001 and
another boy born in 2002, both by different fathers. The birthmother
is not open to singles or same sex couples. She would like a married
couple, with or without kids. Her preference would be a Biracial
couple, but she is open to any race. She would like phone calls and
maybe a visit before the birth and phone calls, pictures and letters
and maybe a visit once a yr. after placement. The birthmother will
need about $500 a month in living expenses for 3 mos., June July and
Aug. Fees will be $13,500 plus your legal costs and travel. That fee
includes my fee, all birthmother expenses as well as the agency fee.

Code-Rebecca-Birthmother due in Florida July 5th with a full Caucasian baby boy. The birthmother is 28 and has 2 other children. Before finding out she was pregnant Rebecca was using crack cocaine. As soon as she found out she was pregnant she was admitted into an inpatient drug facility and has been drug-free since Nov. 15, 2004. She believes her conception date was Oct. 5th, 2004. During the 40 days before she was admitted to the inpatient facility it was estimated that she spent $250-$350 a day on crack. She did not use any other drugs and did not drink alcohol. She does smoke cigarettes and smokes about 10 a day. She has had an ultrasound and everything indicated the pregnancy was advancing normally and no indications of problems were seen. She is drug tested on a regular basis. Rebecca is married and he is aware of the pregnancy and will sign. Because of her action during the time of the pregnancy it cannot be said with certainty that he is absolutely the birthfather. Florida has a Punative Father Registry which will be searched to make sure no other persons are making claims to be the father. Because of the situation she has lost temporarily the custody of her 2 daughters. To get them back she has to do what the courts order, which is pass her drug testing, get counseling and supervision. She is expected to be 100% compliant and is working hard to get them back. This would not be a good time in her life to parent a newborn so she wishes to place. Her goal is to get on her feet, get work, and get her daughters back. Termination and finalization will both happen in Fla. Maternity expenses are estimated to be between $7,500-$10,000. Legal costs are expected to be also between $7,500-$10,000. These estimates can possibly be higher or lower. Total fees estimated between $17,000-$22,000 plus travel. You must be homestudy ready now to apply.

Code-Kelly-Birthmother due in Florida in November, possibly Oct.
with a Biracial baby, sex unknown. The birthmother has had just one
prenatal visit so far but will start regular care. She is on
Medicaid. She is having an ultrasound this Sat. She may or may not
find out the sex of the baby at that time. She feels the baby is due
in Oct. or Nov., and the ultrasound will give us a more specific due
date. The birthmother and the birthfather are living together. He is
very supportive of the adoption plan and will sign. The birthmother
is Caucasian and 24, the birthfather is African American and 23. They
are parenting a baby girl that will be 1 in Sept. The birthfather
works in construction and recently fell off a roof and broke his arm
and cannot work. They will need about $1,000 a month in living
expenses from now through Oct. or Nov. depending on her due date.
Birthmother smokes 1/2 pack of cigarettes a day and denies the use of
any drugs or alcohol during the pregnancy. She would like phone calls
before the birth, and pictures and letters after placement. She does
not want the adoptive couple to be at the birth, but would like them
to arrive soon after. She wants a Baptist couple or single. No same
sex couples or gay singles. Fees will be $18,000 plus your legal fees
and travel, possibly less depending on if she is due in Oct. or Nov.
(should know Sat.) and if the birthfather is able to return to work
later.
