As you walk through the shadows, you can feel the yellow stare of an unseen watcher...
A white owl lands in a tree overhead and swivels his head at you, staring round eyes fixed.
'Who are you?' he quizzes, bobbing, 'and why are you here? You had best go back the way you came, but if you are insistent on seeing the black leopardess then it is your own folly, and i wish you luck.'
With a last bob of his head, the owl flies off, toward a big tree with sprawling branches, a cave nestled amongst its roots and a small clear pool that reflects the leaves a little distance off.
