Subject: He asked me what I wanted for our anniversary and I told him I wanted to take a couples dance class, so we wouldn't look like idiots dancing at my nephew's wedding in July. He only agreed because I asked for his participation as my gift. What I really meant to say is he is not exactly insensitive, it is just subtle things I miss. I love that John and Jamie both are able to touch in bed without always wanting anything else. You can bet if my sweetie pulled me close, put his face in my hair, or kissed me on the shoulder, he'd have no intention of stopping there no matter how tired or "not in the mood I feel". Diana understands how much this (and the ability to hold a deep conversation and actually say what is on their minds) appeals to a woman. While men, on the whole, want to be left alone if they are in sleep mode, they expect instant response to any cuddling to switch us to what they think is the inevitable follow on.
In reply to: Oleander 's message, "LOL, I wonder how many of us married the hunter/gatherer and secretly desire a man like Jaime or John. If I asked my husband to take dance lessons he would probably fall over laughing." on 10:42:59 10/11/07 Thu
